WPP Hires Dave Rolfe as Its First Global Head of Production

He joins after a short stint at Facebook

WPP has added another member to its creative ranks.

The holding company, which owns agencies including MediaCom, Ogilvy and VMLY&R, has hired Dave Rolfe as its global head of production, a new role at WPP.

His appointment comes roughly a month after WPP hired Rob Reilly as its global chief creative officer. It’s also part of a yearslong push to beef up WPP’s creative chops, which Mark Read implemented in 2018 after becoming CEO. At the time, WPP said it would put £15 million ($20.94 million) per year toward creative leadership until 2021. A WPP spokesperson confirmed that its investment still stands.
